Kira has been a certified executive coach, facilitator and strategist for the past 12 years. She is the author of Gen-Speak: Communication Strategies for the New Generational Mix at Work and Send/Receive/Confirm: Optimizing Communication for the Modern Workplace, and an award-winning researcher and keynote speaker.
She is a subject matter expert regarding generational issues at work, emotional intelligence and imposter syndrome and provides keynote presentations on all of these topics for local, national and global audiences. Kira’s clients include ViacomCBS, JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse, EisnerAmper, Everyday Health and many others.
Kira combines her 15 years of experience in corporate management and human resources with her experience, certifications and education to effectively help her clients make positive changes to improve workplace performance. Her approach to coaching involves working with leaders to evaluate and improve their effectiveness using the theories of emotional intelligence.
Through conversations, assessments and observations, Kira assists her clients in developing their self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management as a catalyst to improve their leadership and communication. She creates tangible goals and measurable outcomes as part of each coaching engagement to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Kira also works with clients to develop practical, professional development programs. Recently, she designed and delivered a management training initiative for a large media company around managing a multi-generational workforce. The initiative positively impacted communication, engagement and employee retention. She also designed and delivered a high potential development program for a financial organization. The approach involves individual coaching and group training and has been running for the past four years.
Kira is certified in DiSC®, MBTI, Hogan, Tracom Social Styles and EQ-i and earned an advanced certification in Emotional Intelligence Coaching. She earned her master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and graduated magna cum laude with a Business Communication degree from Emerson College.
Travel, wine and spending time with her family are some of her pastimes; she also plays the piano and loves to entertain.
